"Slanted and Enchanted" is the more Sonic Youth sounding work, especially songs like "No Life Singed Her", "Loretta's Scars", "Perfume-V", "Home" (the "Westing" version is way better), and "Mercy Snack".
You should consider "Wowee Zowee" next, then "Westing" and "Terror Twilight".
I don't know "Brighten the Corners".
Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks is good, but I think Pavement is better. I have some Malkmus/Jicks material, but not a full CD yet.
A guy in Nuclear Forehead emailed me and promised to send me FREE their new CD.

I have "Slanted & Enchanted" and "Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain."
Don't forget to mention Stephen Malkmus' solo stuff! I am sorely lacking this great music. Soon...
